Founded in 1979, Coffman has grown into one of the area's premier excavation contractors by focusing on integrity, service, and long-term relationships. Over that time, we've grown from a specialist in construction of residential septic systems to an excavation contractor which provides services for some of the areas most challenging projects. From backyard jobs to mammoth public or private work endeavors, we've gained a reservoir of knowledge only two decades of experience can impart.

We now offer an experienced full time staff of over 100 organized into an open, communicative, team structure. We must, as they say, be doing something right. Coffman Excavation, a union company, has an open shop sister company more recently formed as Earthworks Oregon. EWO focuses on subdivision construction and shares the same principals as Coffman Excavation.
