DSHS Project Has Begun!
Coffman Excavation has begun construction on the DSHS project located in Vancouver WA. There are many complicated features to navigate as part of this project. The most difficult scope of work that we have to complete is the utility work on NE 159th St. There is a new deep sanitary sewer line as well as a new water main, storm drainage system, and road widening that we have to complete. In order to install these utilities and other works safely we must shut down NE 159th to all traffic.
Starting July 5th 2023, NE 159th St will be closed to all traffic from the intersection with NE 50th Ave to the intersection of NE 57th Ave for the installation of utilities to the approved DSHS Project. This road closure will be in effect from 7/5/2023 to 11/16/2023. A detour will be in place to access NE 159th on the east side of the closure. Below is the detour plan that will be in place during this road shutdown.
